Description  

PROGUSTA CA GRANULAR is a granular product supplied in 20 kg packaging and characterized by a white agglomerated appearance.  

The product specifications require an assay on dried material between 99.0 and 100.5%, with a maximum water content of 6.0%. A 10% solution has a specified pH range of 6.0–9.0.  

Quality specifications also include a maximum chloride content of 500 ppm, iron content of 10 ppm and insoluble matter in water of 0.1%. Sulphate content is specified at a maximum of 0.1%.  

The two available batches show consistent analytical results. Batch 2000104631 reports an assay of 100.2%, water content of 5.5%, chloride content of 257 ppm and iron below 2 ppm. Batch 2000085430 reports an assay of 99.9%, water content of 5.4%, chloride content of 249 ppm and iron below 2 ppm. Both batches have a pH of 7.2, oxidisable impurities as formic acid below 0.1%, insolubles in water below 0.1%, and sulphate below 0.1%.  

The Certificates of Analysis state that the product should remain in its original undamaged packaging and be stored under the recommended conditions.
